Shell Canada

Shell Canada set out to tell a global story on one of the country’s biggest stages — the Grey Cup broadcast. “Energy for 7 Billion” was designed to spotlight the scale of the world’s evolving energy needs, and the role Shell plays in helping meet that demand responsibly and reliably.

We developed a visually driven commercial that spanned continents, capturing original footage in diverse locations around the world to reinforce the universality of energy reliance — from dense urban centres to remote industrial landscapes. The result was a cinematic, globally minded piece that positioned Shell as a vital contributor in powering modern life — answering the call to fuel a growing world, today and into the future.

SBD Play: Learn to Play

SBD Play came to us with a unique challenge: introduce an online betting platform built specifically for beginners — a place to learn the ropes without the risk of losing real money. Our concept leaned into a simple, relatable truth: nobody learns by being thrown into the deep end.

 

We brought that idea to life through a series of exaggerated sporting scenarios — a first-time boxer stepping into the ring with a seasoned pro, a novice skier dropped onto a triple black diamond, and other high-pressure matchups that highlight just how unrealistic — and intimidating — that approach can be. The spot used humour and spectacle to drive the message home: learning should be accessible, supportive, and risk-free. Just like SBD Play.

Winsport: Better than Yesterday

WinSport approached us to help shift a long-standing perception: that their facilities and programs were built primarily for elite and Olympic-level athletes. In reality, WinSport offers training, camps, and development opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels across a wide range of sports.

Our campaign, Better Than Yesterday, embraced an understated, human approach — focusing not on podium moments, but on progress. We captured quiet, authentic scenes of athletes learning, falling, improving, and being coached across multiple disciplines. By spotlighting the teaching, mentorship, and incremental wins behind every sport, the campaign reframed WinSport as a place where anyone can show up, put in the work, and leave a little better than they were the day before.
